Payment Processing
All payments are processed by third-party payment processors used by Crowment. Crowment does not directly process or store your payment card information. Any billing-related disputes involving payment processing are subject to the relevant provider's terms and policies in addition to this Refund Policy. Crowment is not liable for any errors, delays, failures, or other issues caused by third-party payment processors or any other infrastructure provider we depend on.
No Refunds Policy
Crowment does not offer refunds or account credits for any payments made to our Service. All subscription fees are non-refundable.
How Our Billing Works
All billing, plan changes, and payment processing are handled by our third-party payment processor. Crowment does not directly process or calculate any charges.
- Upgrades: When you upgrade to a higher plan, the change takes effect immediately. Any proration or billing adjustment is handled entirely by our payment processor.
- Downgrades: When you downgrade, the change takes effect immediately. The unused portion of your current plan is retained as a credit balance by our payment processor and applied automatically toward your next renewal. No cash refund is issued.
- Cancellation: When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period. No partial refund is issued for unused time within the period. After the period ends, data is preserved for 2 months as described in our Terms of Service.
- Taxes & Currency: Applicable taxes, duties, and currency conversions are determined and applied at checkout by our payment processor. These charges are outside Crowment's control.
Why We Don't Offer Refunds
We've designed our pricing model to be transparent and risk-free for all users:
- Free Tier Available: We offer a fully functional free tier that allows you to test all features of our platform without any financial commitment. You can evaluate the Service, integrate our comment widget, and see if it meets your needs before paying anything.
- Predictable Pricing: Our pricing is storage-based and transparent. You only pay for what you actually use — comment and media storage. There are no hidden fees, surprise charges, or confusing page view billing that could lead to unexpected costs.
- Clear Limits: Each plan clearly specifies the included storage limits. You can monitor your usage through our dashboard and understand exactly what you're getting before you pay.
- Flexible Subscriptions: You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period, with no further charges.
Your Responsibility
As a customer, you are responsible for:
- Evaluating the Service thoroughly using our free tier before upgrading
- Understanding your storage needs and choosing the appropriate plan
- Monitoring your usage through the dashboard to ensure the plan meets your needs
- Reviewing the plan limits before downgrading to ensure your current usage fits within the target plan
